"The desire of the sluggard puts him to death, for his hands refuse to work "
This proverb is interesting as it nails the reason that some never accomplish their dreams. They refuse to put out any effort toward their goals or in work or generosity.
The lazy person has a lot of dreams and plans, but they refuse to put the effort out to make them happen. God has given us abundant opportunities, but we must take advantage of His grace. Too many want to just dream or pray, waiting for God to drop a completed gift in our laps. He gives us opportunities and wants us to be involved in the accomplishment of the gift.
If you just make plans and never begin to execute toward those goals or ideas, then you are a sluggard. What would it take for you to accomplish the dreams and desires that you have? Assuming that they are righteous, they require that you work and that you plan, sacrifice, and strategize.
